The 26th annual Minnesota Aviation Hall of
Fame banquet will be held on Saturday, April 25 at the Ramada/Mall of America
Hotel in Bloomington, Minnesota.
This year’s inductees include Larry Diffley, Bemidji
native, FBO and entrepreneur; Robert Gilruth, NASA engineer and director of
Johnson Space Flight Center during early manned launches; Brigadier General Leo
Goodrich, Air Guard pilot and Assistant MN Adjutant General-Air; Frank Judd,
early NWA pilot, Superintendent of Northern Region and NWA executive; Robert
Rishovd, Viet Nam veteran and Minnesota helicopter service pioneer; Lieutenant
Colonel John Voth, Air Corps instructor and founder of the St. Cloud Aero Club.
In addition to the inductees, the Minnesota Aviation
Hall of Fame will present 2015 awards to Jack El Hai for Best Aviation Writing
by a Minnesotan and to Steve Hustad for Best Aviation Art by a Minnesotan and also
present monetary scholarships to young adults entering into aviation careers.
